1) Let others know that you do not intend to drink alcohol tonight. This shows that you are confident in your stand and others will be likely not to bother you later on.

2) Tell others that you are allergic to alcohol and will develop a serious rash if a drop of it touches your mouth. When health reasons are involved, people will be more likely to leave you alone.


3) Announce that you are the "designated driver" for your friends. That way, you can enjoy the party drinks free and so will your friends. Do not ever drink and drive!

4) Mention that you have an important event to attend tomorrow and that you do not want to be hung over or tired. This usually keeps the drinks pusher away.

In the end of the day, will power if the most important factor and personal integrity. Do not be swayed by others or think that people will like you less if you prefer to stick to your ideals. In fact, people who are confident and sure of themselves are often liked even more.
